  • Recorded, mixed, mastered and co-produced Maxwell von Raven’s debut album For the Night Surely Comes
  • Wrote monologue for El Morro production of The Vagina Monologues on growing up female, being transgender, and surviving sexual assault
  • Poem at sunrise published in January issue of the Gallup Journey of New Mexico
  • Photo Muse won first place in its category at the El Morro Area Arts Council Harvest Festival

2012

  • Produced two dozen visual art pieces for a solo art show in Portland, OR at the Silver Moth
  • Began CoupleoHuckleberries blog with Spencer Fisher to document their adventures backpacking, living off grid, and making art

2011

  • Ink and watercolor The Juniper Tree included in Group Love Show Number 5 at the Launchpad Gallery

2009 – 2010

  • Published blog Western Rambler to document his sabbatical in the high desert off the grid, on the road, or with his 100 year old grandmother

  • Volunteered at Cardo’s Sprout Farm in Denton, Texas

2006

  • Wrote, produced and performed multimedia visual art show/rock opera The Armless Children and the Serpent in a three month timeline at the Launchpad Gallery in Portland, Oregon
  • Taught keyboard at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls in Portland, Oregon
  • Volunteered at Mark Woolley Gallery in Portland, Oregon

  • Curated revolving art shows at Jupiter House, a 24-hour coffee house in Denton, Texas, which was co-owned and co-created with family

  • Music scholarship funding lost due to cuts to the National Endowment for the Arts

  • Attended Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas for Music Composition and Piano, studying piano with Octavio Gutierrez, by virtue of a National Endowment for the Arts music scholarship
  • Wrote piano composition Tempus

1991-1999

  • Studied piano with classical pianist and instructor Carmen Doubrava

1999

  • Wrote sonata for electric guitar and piano Ximena, which won 2nd in the Texas State Music Teacher’s Association’s composition competition
  • Recorded, mixed, mastered and produced solo experimental album Chained to the Sink under the name (esperance)

1998

  • Wrote piano composition Tir fa Tonn, which won 2nd in the Texas State Music Teacher’s Association’s composition competition

1996

  • At age 15, completed first piano composition of note, Amans, in sonata form
